Vinegar Hill's new retail security system in Hitchin.
A side from the age of the system, another reason why a replacement was necessary was to change the system to a different frequency – the new technology is able to work better with the product tags it's assigned to protect. The client's main aim was to protect more and different types of merchandise, so a new system was the perfect solution.
And that solution was relativity simple – we removed the entire old system and replaced it with a single pedestal system; our mono Optimum tagging system. The Optimum system is a digital security solution that has been designed with outstanding detection abilities to minimise false alarms. It also allows for superb tracking of tags, making it an excellent choice in terms of safety at the site, without sacrificing productivity. The optional features include people counting and metal/magnet detections as well as remote diagnostics so owners can keep things running smoothly while still being safe from potential threats.
The job went smoothly, with a stable and secure installation achieved quickly and easily – causing virtually zero disruption to the client's business. We are pleased to say that Vinegar Hill were delighted with the work, and we look forward to potentially working with them on future retail security projects.
