Our Security System Fit Out In London For The CP Company
The Client
The CP Company are an Italian clothing brand that were formed in 1971, offering high-quality 'military-inspired' outwear that makes use of innovative fabrics, processing techniques and design. Originally called 'Chester Perry', the company changed its name in 1978 following a lawsuit by two other clothing brands – the tailor Chester Barrie and the sportswear company Fred Perry, for use of their first name and surname.
Today, the brand has a large following within European sports culture and continues to develop modern field jackets,soft-shell goggle jackets, sweatshirts and more. Their flagship store is based on Brewer Street in Soho; perfectly located for local and visiting shoppers alike – meaning that it receives a vast and diverse footfall.
The Solution
The Tagmax team were tasked with installing a tagging system to suit the width of the exit. As this was a standard installation of ours, it took no time at all in arranging it with the client – we were to install one of our 'Optimum' single pedestal systems. This system has outstanding detection which allows for superb tracking of clothing tags and reduces the number of false alarms.
The installation of the new security tagging system was done in two phases. The first saw our team liaise with the site foreman of the shop fit to arrange an appropriate time for us to run the cables, before the second phase, which would see us fit the system itself. Doing it this way enabled us (and the shopfitter) to work on our jobs quickly, without any delays.
After the second fix, the shop was handed over to the client 3 days later and was ready to open. They were very pleased with the work and are considering taking out a maintenance agreement after the standard 1-year warranty expires. This is an offer we extend to all our clients, in which our team returns to the site at certain intervals to check on the health of the system.
