We were tasked with installing the X Clear dual systems for Montane’s retail space in Lancaster. The goal was to provide an effective and efficient installation while ensuring minimal disruption to the store’s operations.
About the Project
This was the second system of its kind to be installed in the location, ensuring that the Montane retail environment was both secure and practical. We took extra care in protecting all clothing items, including coats, jackets, trousers, and shirts, from potential damage during installation.
Scope of Work:
We installed the X Clear pedestal system, a solution designed for durability and ease of use in high-traffic areas. Our team began by fixing the system early in the shop fitting process. The installation was completed two days before the handover, ensuring the project remained on schedule and met the client’s timeline.
Challenges and Solutions
A key aspect of the installation was ensuring all cables were run efficiently. We opted for a setup where all cables were directed to the side, allowing us to install the PSU controllers in a discreet and organised manner. The system was installed cleanly, and our team collaborated well with the shopfitters and designers to ensure everything was aligned with the overall design and functionality of the space.

We first fixed the system early on in the shop fit, ensuring the installation could proceed smoothly. The project was completed two days before the handover, allowing for a seamless transition.
