Our client, an independent garden centre located in Exeter, required a comprehensive retail security solution to protect their diverse range of products, including clothing, garden machinery, and water pumps. With multiple entrances and heavy trolley use in the store, the client needed a robust system that could handle the demands of their busy retail environment while ensuring high levels of security.

The security solution was designed to protect a wide range of items, from clothing such as coats, jackets, trousers, and shirts to high-value garden machinery and water pumps. The system used hard tags and adhesive labels to provide optimal protection across all product types.
During the installation, we faced the challenge of concealing cables in a store that was already fitted with carpets. Where possible, we lifted the carpets to chase the cables, ensuring a neat and professional finish. In areas where this wasn’t feasible, we installed a discreet kick strip to house the cables.
Our team collaborated effectively with the shopfitters and designers, ensuring the installation process was seamless and did not disrupt the overall store layout or aesthetic.
The installation was completed to a high standard, delivering a clean and professional finish that met the client’s needs. The X Clear systems now provide effective protection for the wide range of products on offer at Garden Centre, while the pedestal protectors ensure the systems can withstand the heavy use of trolleys in the store.
